Now that you’ve found us, come and join us on one of our events. Whether you come on a walk or a social event, it goes without saying that you can expect a warm welcome.
If you want to attend any of our walks, just book a place from the Walks Page and enter your details. To come along to a new members social event, all you need to do is turn up on the night. Most of the organised social events require a notification of your interest on the forum, as places are usually pre-booked.
Contact our Membership Secretary for any New Member enquiries. If you have any questions about the socials or walks, go to the Contacts page and send us an email. Information on some of our events can also be found the groups Forum.
Details of all our day walks are available on the walks section. Please read the Walk Grades page before deciding which walk you would like to attend.
How to join the Merseyside Young Walkers Group 20-30s group
You are welcome to join us on three walks to see if you like the group. If you are happy with us and you want to regularly attend our group walks, weekends away and social events, we ask that you join us as a full member.
To become a member of the group, you need to first, join The Ramblers Association, and specify on the application form to join the MYWG 20-30s group. Check the RA website for current prices, there is no additional charge to join our group. It is normally cheaper to join as a joint member, so if you have a friend wanting to join at the same time, apply this way. Note: the main applicant will receive the publications from RA.
Our members receive three magazines published by the Ramblers: Walk, a national magazine packed with gear and book reviews, stunning photography and exciting features by renowned writers, and Hike, which contains news and information about 20-30s groups nationwide. Discounts of 10% at outdoor shops such as Blacks and Millets are also available to members.
