MAPS DATABASE

We now have a library of maps for most walking areas. The MYWG 20-30's+ are happy to loan out these maps FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who is a member of the MYWG / Ramblers' Association who would like to lead a walk with this group.

GOOD WALKS

If you know of a good walk that you think we'd all like - please speak to Cameron. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

WE NEED LEADERS!!

Most people in the group would like more walks & more often. We can't add more walks unless people offer to lead them!

“But I can’t navigate?”. You don’t always need to - an evening stroll round a lake:

on a Summer’s evening is as popular as…..

a stomp across the mountains:

“But I’ve never lead before!” – Relax

If you’d like to find out more, without committing, have a chat with Cameron. Advice on how to go about organising and leading walks with our group can also be found on the RA website: www.ramblers.org.uk/volunteer/walks

We’re all friends so it’s no big deal and besides….leading can be rewarding (watching the troops over the shoulder follow your every step through pat and puddle is entertaining!

Anyone interested in any of the above please contact Cameron.
